Getting ‘internal server error – 500′ on some machine for some links? – I got this error when I tried downloading a hot fix from Microsoft a link to an exe that was emailed to me from Microsoft.
The issue IE8 – use compatibility view ; Add the server to list of sites in compatibility view (Menu->Tools->Compatibility View) websites and try the link and it should work fine.
