Postfix to send email thru another relay host, mail server like an ISP’s mail server

There are a few links on the web that explain using postfix (search patiently)

Basic idea

  • setup postfix in ‘Satellite’ mode
  • relay host is your other/actual smtp mail server
  • enable smtp sasl for authentication and setup the parameters

Setting up Postfix to send mail thru another relay host, lil hard to find, Couple of them are
